serving the good people of Oklahoma since 1947.
During the final year of World War II, the president of the Oklahoma Farmer’s Union drove through Hulbert and stopped by our family general store after seeing a Case tractor sign. He asked if anyone wanted to sell binder twine. Celeste said yes.
Later, he returned with one more question:
“Would you like to sell insurance?”
She said yes to that, too.
One conversation sparked a family business that has served Oklahoma families for almost 80 years.
Over the years, the agency evolved right alongside our family. When Celeste remarried in the 1960s, the agency name changed from Celeste Bryant Insurance to Celeste Looney Insurance. When she retired in 1999, her son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Martha Bryant, carried the business forward. In 2009, their daughter, Brandi Pilcher, joined the agency, continuing the family’s commitment to serving generations of Oklahomans.
Different names. One family. One legacy.
Some things change, but some things stay the same. Before she retired, Celeste asked her son and granddaughter to keep the name Celeste Looney Insurance. We are honored to continue the legacy she entrusted to us: serving the good people of Oklahoma.
Today, we’re still a family-owned agency, but we’ve never believed longevity comes from standing still. As our customers’ lives have changed, so have we. We’ve expanded our team, partnered with more insurance companies, and embraced new ways to serve our customers—all while staying true to the values that have guided us from the beginning.
More than three generations later, we’re still saying yes: yes to serving our neighbors, yes to adapting with the times, and yes to helping Oklahoma families protect what matters most.
